The mission of the Friends of the Carson City Library is to support and promote the purposes and activities of the Carson City library and its community through our fundraiser, Browser's Corner Book Store.

Get to know Browsers Corner Book Store
The Carson City Library opened its doors in June 1966. Since then, the Friends of the Carson City Library has given its support to many library projects and much-needed acquisitions.
Browsers Corner Book Store is the major fundraising mechanism for the Friends, which donates all net proceeds to the library.
Funds are used to pay for programs such as Summer Learning and National Library Week activities.
